Or just eat less, it’s pretty easy to understand right? Calories in and calories out.
I ran like a mad man in LA fitness and burnt 300 calories
that equals exactly a twix bar.
LJL..

to lose weight, you need to stop eating.Keeping consumption constant, burning an extra 300 calories 3 times per week adds up to avoiding a 13 pound weight gain over a year. Calories burned through exercise are actually a big deal.
But keeping consumption constant is not a reasonable assumption. Anyone who has exercised knows that the desire to consume increases afterwards. The question is - supposing the increase in consumption caused by an increase in exercise adds fewer calories than the exercise itself - whether exercise still provides significant weight loss, net.
To me, it's not obvious at all, and in fact I've always found it easiest to lose weight by just counting calories and restricting what I eat. It's difficult to identify the impact of going to the gym on weight loss, because it often comes alongside an increased desire to lose weight and other associated confounding factors. Haven't looked at whether there are actual studies on this stuff, I guess there must be.
Yeah , most people who work out don't run close to 10 miles. That's a lot and that's also a lot of time to regularly schedule for this. And your're not talking about burning that in one hour
I burn over 1k calories when I run (10 minute pace, 6 miles) but I am large (6'2" 215).
1k seems pretty normal to me.I burn over 1000 calories when I run (10 miles, 6 minute pace) but am a skinny fck - 1.83m/69kg. The numbers add up.
Americans are fat because they have no work life balance. Cheap greasy sugary tasty fast food is their escapism.
-Eurobro
Amerifats are fat because we are developmentally ahead of you Yurops.
Don't worry, you are getting fat too. You are just a few years behind.
A better reason not to worry is that by the time you get as fat as Americans, you will be busy bowing to Mecca, those of you who are left.
Really depends on your size and pace. A big guy in good shape will burn 1000 calories easily.
The 1,000 calorie bro could be real, but that is some serious running
I would put an hour on treadmill closer to 500-600
Now outdoor hilly serious 1 hr run? Yeah I buy 1,000 then maybe

If you run 10 miles at 6 minute pace you're running an hour, duh?
