It is like playing a video game on hard mode. It is more challenging, but sometimes that's what makes it fun and a great story.
The guy with most academic achievements in my high school didn't go to one of the best colleges. He then had to go back to Korea to do military service. He's now a manager at a FAANG. He's not the best looking, but he's sharply dressed and you can tell he's got a shredded body underneath. And he's married to someone who looks like a model.
That to me is a more inspiring story than a 6'4" nordik bro with mba making it.
Incidentally, I also know Asian guys who did go to Harvard. Some of them are the typical book smart types, but one of them is just at another level of human intelligence.
