in 2008 it was easy to see what would happen if you lived in places affected by the housing bubble. Now it's not so straightforward
Interest rates have been about zero since 9-11 20 years ago (except for a few years in the mid 2000's). Add in a bunch of stimulus, and yeah the stock market is propped up. Been so for a while now.
Agree. It is bubbly. I bet it will crash, even more than once, in the next 10 years. I also believe that expected returns are low now. Still, it should beat long term bonds for the next decade as stocks produce dividends and other cash flows for investors at a rate much higher than bonds currently do. Therefore, I hold stocks, a lot of stocks.

Just as I said above, crash highly unlikely. About 1% chance everyday. op got it wrong. Doomsday prophets often do. Occasionally they hit the jackpot.
