Ive noticed that my female friends talk a lot about how their current man compares to past men. Emotionally, how successful they are, but most of all anatomically, and usually not in a positive way. I would rather be with a woman who doesn’t have loads of guys competing with me in her head.

I think everyone has their preference, male or female. As a broette, I have had limited sexual activity, whereas my best friend from undergrad was what some call overactive in that department. Essentially she was looking for love, never found it, and was scared to be alone. After a short abusive marriage, she currently lives with her parents as their caregiver. She is actually a caring person with a wonderful heart whose love life didn’t work out.
Regardless of your views on morality, promiscuous people don’t seem especially happy, and are more like to be single as they move into their 30s. Frankly those looking for stability do a better job of steering clear as looks fade and personality becomes more important. Male or female, behavioral issues driving your sexual activity are too much for the people you ultimately need in your life.

Lots of wisdom here. I was entranced by a woman who, for whatever reason, slept around with guys who most people would think were questionable. Luckily for me, things didn’t work out between us. I’ve been happily married for many years with two kids. She never married and has been living alone for the past twenty years.
