Alright so they lost NM, AM, EY, and TW among the existing faculty. Moreover, they made many offers that were rejected for marginally worse schools: EM chose Wisconsin, VM chose UNC, AT chose Duke, GS chose USC. Did they even hire anybody in the end? Can we officially say that this is a complete implosion?

I don’t understand you, this is an anonymous job market rumor forum, if you know who these people are why can’t you just state who they are? Why saying “they hired two ok rookies” “a woman from Europe” etc?
So they made 7 offers and hired two? Who are the two?
One woman from Europe

Losing the Malenkos was big. TW still at Michigan. Never heard of any of the people who turned down their offer.
Ross has a top 5 BBA and top 10 MBA so they'll be fine in the long run.Ross will be fine. Finance probably won’t. It is by far the weakest department at Ross, and it was never very good. Having SN and TW there was not the norm.
