Unfortunately I live in a European country in which the mining sector is almost non-existent (and when I was 18 it wasn't even a career I thought about).
Medicine is such a huge commitment that it must be crazy if you aren't 100% motivated. Regarding some of the worst aspects of the job (like aggressive patients) probably it's possible to avoid or reduce some of those depending on the specialization (surgeon, pathologist...)

Jumping from mining to logistics or commodities is a no brainer
investment banks even have mining specific desks because of how often large miners acquire small miners who prove there holdings to be valuable but don’t have the low cost of capital to make funding the construction of a line worthwhile. And these desks like hiring people with mining or geology degrees.

The best English language programs are in Canada and Australia. The USA also has some good programs.
Mining engineering programs are not typical engineering programs, they are much more technically oriented and industry specific. It's more like a trade program.
In my opinion the subject matter is likely quite dull, but working in the mining industry is underrated. If there aren't many mining jobs double major in economics or computer science. You can potentially pursue an MBA program in your mid to late 20s. Good MBA programs probably like miners because they have lots of responsibilities at a young age.

Some areas of medicine are pretty interesting (neurosurgery, interventional radiology). However, many doctors are insufferable.
Coming of a "medical family", I think there is nothing extremely wrong or bad about this line of work. An average doctor seems to work 10-12 hours a day, every day, including weekends. Most doctors are overworked but not because of the nature of work, but because it pays so well. So when someone says "hey Joe, would you hold a night shift twice a week, we pay you 150 dollars an hour", then the doctor accepts this thinking here now I can have more cash to buy a summer house by the lake, or another lexus, or corvette, and so on. They're overworked by choice.

Did econ with all the electives for med School.
I got a place, but I am not sure About it.
My dad is a mining engineer and he offers to pay for a BSc in Mining Engineering, which would get me in the Industry.
Its quite cheap too.
on the other Hand, I have a guaranteed place for med School. But it takes so Long and ill be in so much debt I dont know if ist worth it.
but if I choose mining, years of Living in the middle of nowhere, Elko Nevada for example, await me.

dude, if you really find mining engineering interesting, then do that. there are so many jobs in industry where such seriously hard STEM skills are highly valued. you'll have better chances to enter consulting or banking than any business major. doing medicine for the prestige is just dumb. if you don't genuinely want to help people, you won't be a great doctor.

From experience I can say SDSMT seems to be fairly good value for your dollar, especially for non-resident students.
A fringe benefit of going there is that it is also very geographically isolated (though not as much as the mining towns you'll likely end up working in). If you can't stand RC, then you won't be able to stand the mining life and can change major to something else.

Exactly. Meanwhile some hospitals provide a 1-week on 1-week off option where they work for 7 days straight 12/day, and then take an entire week completely off and jet off to vacation somewhere. It's really not a bad gig for those interested, although not many places to vacation in in a sh/i/thole like the US so need to fly.

Im looking at Arizona State, Tucson.
It's a good Uni, and I like it. But I'm not sure if I'll like the years spent in mining towns.
