    Ah that's true.

    On the other hand, MSU is attempting to hire more Macro and Development profs. Something to consider for future job market applicants.

    Not covering all the fields doesn't stop Minnesota, NYU or Penn from claiming that they are highly ranked...

    MTSU. They get trashed on this site a lot but having been around a bit it is easy to see they are as good or better than half the schools in the SEC or Big 12. They are not better than any of the schools in the Big 10 obviously but nonetheless way better than they are given credit for here.

    And all of the deadwood has left (Calvo, Reinhart, Rust) and soon
    probably more of the troublemakers will be gone, and Maryland
    will turn into a top 20 department.
