Is it fair to Russian tennis players? No. Is it fair that ukrainians are being tortured and raeped and being blown up by thousands of Russian bombs? No.
Russian athletes are getting this treatment because the world wants to be clear in publicly saying that what Russia is doing is unacceptable. Russian athletes have the power to say that they condemn what Russia is doing and beg Russians to rise up and protest on the streets or even ask if they would be allowed to play if the gave up their Russian representation. The biggest move a Russian athlete could do is reject to represent Russia and ask to play with Ukraine's colors even if that athlete is from the far east.Is asking a question and then answering it yourself a sign that you're a total maroon? Yes, yes it is.
