I just received what seems to be an exploding offer from a school located in rural Tennessee. I was given 48 hours to make a decision.
Any info on rural Tennessee would be greatly appreciated.

So TN Tech? Cookeville isn't horrible, but it depends on what your frame of reference is. It's very small and there will be basically no good restaurants or anything to do. But there is a lot of natural beauty near by and Nashville isn't far away.
It's one hour from Nashville and Nashville is a great city. Maybe yiu can even live close i Nashville. Cookville is dirt cheap but then so is half of Tennessee.
it's tennessee bro, not much to be said. on the plus side, you will have a lot of free time to read/do research or whatever. people in the south like to hunt a lot, so maybe you will enjoy that
Yeah and noone expects amazing things out of you there so you will be able to do as much or as min research as you want and have a pretty stressless life.
