   Hi EJMR,

   I'm one of the creators of a new reference website for economists - EconReference. The primary intent of the website is to aggregate information on the economics job market. We have a page up here - https://www.econreference.com/candidates/2019 - with a sortable, filterable list of most economics job market candidates. There are also some tabulations by field/nationality/gender.

   As we continue to work on the site, we'll post updates (new data/visualizations, etc.) on Twitter. As described on the home page, our data is incomplete, and we could use your help in improving it. I hope you find the website interesting and useful, and we welcome any feedback (tim@econreference.com).

   1. Yes - we can do that! We'll add some sort of CSV export this week.
   2. You can do some filtering in the table already (e.g. type "Labor" in the cell below "fields" to get all Labor candidates). Is there something else you're looking for? One thought we had is that it may be useful to users to do some filtering by JMP title.

   I assume this data is only from scraping econ department JMC websites? I noticed a lot of (well, a few) missing names even from a quick perusal.

   That's correct. The data was collected about a month ago, so from the department JMC websites we collected data, many likely had not yet listed all their candidates. Additionally, many departments' data has not yet been collected.

   Guys, stop worrying If you are not listed here. Employers check your application, your pubs, not this website. This is just some cool website aggregating info, it is not your door to your dream job.

   If they're listed on a department website, we will (eventually) collect their information. If they're not listed, we won't find them, but you can email us their information and we'll add them to the site.

   We weren't very attentive in instructions to our data collector to make a distinction between postdocs, VAPS, and PhD students. We'll go back and make corrections after first finishing adding all the PhD students, but if you find any errors, you can email us corrections as described here (https://www.econreference.com/).
