Can another insider confirm this? There are some convincing accept and reject emails…
NFA results out?

The "insider" is wrong. At least some acceptance emails have been sent. Here is the full email:
Dear XXX,
We are very pleased to let you know that your paper, XXX, has been accepted for presentation at the 2022 Northern Finance Association Meetings. We received 980 submissions, and we were only able to accommodate 72 papers on the program.
The conference will take place at the Banff Centre, September 23-25, 2022. We will forward information about hotel reservations and other logistics in a few weeks.Important: In order to maintain your paper's place on the program, the presenting author must register for the conference by June 30, 2022. Early registration is $250 for NFA members ($150 for PhD students). If your membership has expired, you will also need to renew it and pay the $50 membership fee before registering. Please note that we have waived the membership requirement for PhD students.
Please login to https://portal.northernfinanceassociation.org/ and select "Manage Papers." There you can ensure that the paper title and author information is correct and sensibly formatted (e.g., not all caps, author order is correct). You can also update the PDF copy of your paper (and, in particular, a version that lists the authors).
We look forward to seeing you in Banff in September.

There are also early-career sessions for APs. If you are an AP and you didn’t make the main cut, you may still make the program if you papers is selected from the pool of papers submitted by APs. That’s potentially why some have received a rejection and some haven’t.
