agreed. they said that they expect a less than 10% acceptance rate and frankly I had a hard time selecting. I did about 10 papers and at least 5 were above the average NFA paper in the past, with two papers good enough to go into WFA.

No, the deadline for reviewers is May 16. The quality of papers I received for review is surprisingly high this year.

So you just choose the leftovers from WFA and EFA. Very smart.
Very high quality as most people are submitting to every single conference. Many of the papers I reviewed are scheduled for WFA and EFA, so I recommended against. It's boring and unfair to have the same papers everywhere

Seems like a reasonable strategy. You should only recommend papers that have no chance of getting into other conferences.

Agreed as long as conferences are online. Everyone can easily attend WFA, so what is the point of other conferences also having papers already presented at WFA?
