mathematicians are dumb!!
N/N/T: mathematics is too abstract, not real world

Anyone following his argument with this guy Aubrey clayton? Apparently this Clayton guy, who is a mathematician working as a director of risk at Moody's, wrote a paper blasting N/N/T "bad math". Then N/N/T published a paper as a reply, but apparently N/N/T makes use of a mysterious result that Aubrey doesn't seem to get and the reference for that result provided by N/N/T is an exam question invented by Dupire for a class at NYU. How much of a loser do you have to be to reference something like that? He's a pathetic Bs artist.

The guy's papers are riddled with mistakes and nonsense. There is a recent example where he posted a question on mathstackexchange and it turns out the question was total nonsense (trying to compute an expectation that doesn't exist). He's a very clumsy person who think he's the smartest guy around.

I was a moderate fan until he took on Claire lately. She made some errors, but he embarrassed himself. And the saddest thing to support his claims about useful mathematicians is that’s what the USSR government wanted.
“a is better than b, after all... Kim Jong Un insists on it...”

He uses ad hominem to the extreme. A lot of his fame is predicated on his supposed wealth. If a mathematician attacks him or his ideas, he will try to discredit mathematics as a field instead of addressing the individual attacking him. It's completely insane.

This is a dumb critique, smart people make stupid mathematical mistakes all the time.

He thinks he's smarter than everyone. His works demonstrates a clear lack of mental clarity.

Daniel Biss is that you?

Which mistakes? You mean typos? Math stack Exch is not papers and that's a place for derivations.
