   Many schools like this. I am aware of three other positions where the flyouts are all women. In one case, I know the dean's office said they can only hire if it's a female.

    Not as small as you probably think.

    Since I have a Matlab open then assuming p=0.5 it's 16.41%. Not sure binomial is appropriate distribution here since the number of trials is not exogenously fixed.

    In any case, the truth to be told if out of 7 flyouts they have 5 females there is no chance they will hire a man. It will be a hell to explain to HR and the Dean why they had 5 females out of 7 candidates but hired a man.
