Hair grows everywhere - backsi/de is like a jungle
Involuntary fa/rting in the morning
A*s itches like crazy
What else bros?Yep, morning gas instead of morning wood is quite a comedown. The hair and itchiness is right on also.

There is already solid research on this question (how turning 40 affects us):
http://www.pnas.org/cgi/doi/10.1073/pnas.1415086111Admittedly, the above work is a lot more convincing if you ignore its many flaws:

Pushing 40 here ...
1) realized I will die a peasant, working until 65;
2) realized that because of 1), it is a bad idea to have kids, divorce coming;
3) I love to party, thats problematic since gout stroke me with a vengeance this year;
4) seksual drive lower, but not an issue yet;
5) easier to gain weight, but keeping a good diet its all good;
4) less patient For sure.
5) growing joint pain, but then again I have back issues since I am 18.
6) hair growing everywhere except on ur head.

39. New baby, night feedings, older kid on the spectrum, wife wracked by anxiety and depression, sex 3 times in the last year, paltry merit raises not keeping up with cost of living, not willing to put in the hours to go for full, learning to embrace deadwoodness, grants being not funded, seeing older faculty retire and die and realizing how deeply fleeting local academic fame is, having to pee more often than the wife, no ED, being able to lift more weight than ever, graying hair, finding deep love and meaning in kids, suspecting that NPR and the NYT might have an agenda of their own, wider age range of women unconsciously considered acceptable as partners. Can’t complain.
I've never been married (or even lived with a gf) but why not just ask for more sex? I would like to get married but stories like this depress me. Is it just due to babies?
