Good summary. I wouldn’t bother looking for a QNE if I can just get whatever piece I write published and better yet, just review other people’s work. And who would?

MRM job market candidate here. If I don't have any R&Rs, what are my chances of landing a job at a top 30-40 school in the US? Should I apply to schools in Europe and Asia?

Thanks. My advisor seems too optimistic of my prospects of me doing well in the US and am getting worried. What schools in Europe and Asia are comparable to those in the US in your opinion? Are any of them like the top 30 schools in the US in terms of research, salaries, teaching, etc? I've never really considered schools outside of the US before so kind of clueless

only school comparable to US is LBS. other schools are way behind.

only school comparable to US is LBS. other schools are way behind.
In terms of salary - yes, LBS is the only one that pays US salaries. There are nevertheless several schools that value research in a similar way as I'd say MRM US schools.

Did we attend the same conference? Admittedly you have to read 100 pages to see that the msg was most QNEs are trash, so not surprised EJMR got it wrong.

Oh give me a f$$king break. These are the same guys who would reject our papers saying that the manuscripts under review are at best association studies without "credible identification strategies." I see no irony at all.
