I hope you are being sarcastic.
JAR editors trying to re-invent the wheel and create solid economic based accounting research! Way to go!
Christian Leuz - Nobel prize !!!! The best researcher in accounting who did not invent anything! Oh my god , I am drooling....

My understanding is JAR editors will accept one registered report paper from each session. In that light, CEO depression seems to be about getting recent Booth grads into the journal.

Why do you need "scientific research"? Fire the ceo instead. By doing so you save a lot of money and toilet paper aka jar.

Great when a post starts with "My understanding" - careful empirical research shows that the assertion which follows this opening phrase is false exactly 100% of the time.

Hey guys, rookie here. I heard people say that autumn market is usually for seasoned, while Spring market is more for rookies, is that true? And does that mean the market won't start rolling for rookies until Miami is over / middle December.
Yes, this is generally true, although some rookie recruiting happens in the fall (usually for more teaching-oriented schools).

You are right, the statement is actually wrong.

1. Not all of the 14 proposals will make it through. Without inside information, I would guess that 6-9 of the proposals will survive.
2. Your statement is nonsensical.

When you interview depends on your situation. If you have publications or revise and resubmits at good journals, or if you are at a HRM program, you probably should wait for the Miami conference. If you are at a mid- or lower-tier doctoral program or you have a crappy dissertation, you probably should interview in the fall. The fall market is typically less crowded and you will have more opportunity to charm the faculty rather than just presenting your research. I have rarely seen a person from a lower-tier school do better by going to Miami. They usually get ignored and have to scrounge for jobs in the middle of nowhere.
