Try again.Compare that to those who already had TOP 3 pubs at the time of the application! Now it is already a year after the fact!

Thomas C. Hagenberg - Northwestern has no Pubs and despite that he got the job and many flyouts to the schools below. Is that just because he is another glorious RA from Indiana?

Have you read his JMP? Maybe it was really good. Maybe his working papers look promising. Indiana is a good school, but no one there is that powerful. So, my guess is that he presents well.

Personal preference. Money isn't everything, and now that you can publish in top journals and fully engage with the profession while staying in Europe, why move to America?

Im European and Im moving back to Europe this year. Ive had enough with the system here. I wish all foreigners write papers in their own countries and contribute to their countries instead of trash like JAR, JAE and all the 12 accounting papers recognized by the US system.

Im European and Im moving back to Europe this year. Ive had enough with the system here. I wish all foreigners write papers in their own countries and contribute to their countries instead of trash like JAR, JAE and all the 12 accounting papers recognized by the US system.
