is PG at Stanford moving?
moving to Europe from what I heard.
PG is going to Portugal. I guess when your work has high quality, you do not need to be in a school with a fancy title. Everyone likes and respects him.
Plenty of other APs in the market. TK from MIT, TK from Emory, DN from Harvard need to move
AR from Chicago, BJ from St Louis, KL from Indiana, XL at NYU, DE at MIT are movable
Anyone is movable for the right price.

Yeah? Not really. People have families to think about.
All families are movable for the right price.

No. Last year was insanely bad for CB folks. This year seems quite reasonable. There actually seems to be fairly marginal research conducted on the CB side this year, so schools that don’t have a strong preference beforehand tend to be leaning quant given the candidate pool.
So is cb market unusually tough this year (excluding a few favorites)?

Hi PG. Thanks for sharing :P
So is cb market unusually tough this year (excluding a few favorites)?Out of curiosity, who seem to be the favorites?
Feels like there are 4-5 candidates doing really well in the cb market. But relatively speaking much fewer flyouts/interviews compared to cb candidates 3-4 years ago.

Based on the group we talked to at AMA, my money is on: Catapano, Chae, Deangelo, Goenka, Lewis, Muntz, Rifkin. It ultimately comes down to fit so there’s probably another 6-10 folks who may not have 10 R1 flyouts but will end up with a great job.
