Yeah sociopaths are known for telling people to stop insulting others and go read a book to educate themselves instead of throwing terms around that they don't understand. Listen, just because you're a failure it doesn't mean everyone here is too. You should find a therapist to deal with your issues.

people here were talking about 215k being the norm for base salary but what I see in the spreadsheet is that 90% of offers are below 200k. What is this inconsistency?
some number of APs from upper tier schools were commenting on that part of the discussion, no one wanted to post "actually I get paid much less"
selection is probably opposite on the sheet, where people are nicer to each other and no one wants to post "actually I'm going to get paid much more"

yeah, I think so too. Probably at the top 20 that is the norm. But definitely not in the lower ones. I feel like 180k is probably the norm among top 100 schools.

I had an offer for 215k+2/9 from a t30. Sheet has someone with 220k+2/9 and an 80k signing bonus, probably Stanford. As noted, Iowa APs clear 180k-185k. Seems like that's the approximate range
