Don't know about the last part, but the OP was definitely talking out of his rectum about sociopaths, who if anything make friends easily and are unriddled by doubt or guilt. Was so overconfident s/he (but, I'm betting, he) didn't even open Wikipedia before hurling it as an insult.
Yeah sociopaths are known for telling people to stop insulting others and go read a book to educate themselves instead of throwing terms around that they don't understand. Listen, just because you're a failure it doesn't mean everyone here is too. You should find a therapist to deal with your issues.
My friends, if you read 181 pages of posts in this thread including racist and misogynistic trash and find no evidence for sociopaths visiting here...

AK isn't a theorist.
He's an empiricist that uses theory to motivate and/or explain his empirics.
I don't think Booth flew out *any* pure theorists... they basically never do. I've heard the reason for this is that the econ group in the school has very good theorists who will kill tenure cases of mediocre applied theorists from other fields.
