I’ve been on the hiring side and can tell you that none of this is true. Your grand conspiracy theories may help you sleep at night, but you should seek real help.
My guess is that your poor English skills are the largest hindrance, or a poor attitude where you tend to blame others.This is a call to international students that you will not get a job because we don't like your English.
The situation of international students is terrible in universities in “Red States”. They show no respect and consider you a worm. The pay is low and there is no summer pay. Many students after a year or two want to transfer but it is impossible. The good universities won’t hire you because they are so strup1d to think you are a redneck and don’t understand you h@te your university even more than them. The culture gap between international students and those from other good regions and those racist laidback people is extraordinary. I agree with the fact that students who publish won’t get a dime while their coauthors get paid good money. I hate the day I applied to get into the program, and I wish I knew this even during my second year. I have a question for the one who says our English is the problem: Why did you accept us in the program, and why isn’t that a publication requirement by the department before asking us to brainstorm for ideas?

Demand side here. I agree with the nepotism comment but let's be honest this isn't rocket science and nobody is using the research outcomes for anything in real life. I personally prefer it be a club where we can screen out people that are not collegiate and fun to be around.
There is still a lot of unmet demand, but these places tend to discriminate against Asians, I can't tell you how many of the old guard will only hire Asians that have grown up in the west as they don't view FOB JMCs as hireable. So there is an oversupply of JMCs that nobody wants to hire but an undersupply of JMCs that we can hire, and the bar is pretty low.There is a huge gap between jobs PhDs are trained for and jobs actually hiring.

He gets 325k in 3/3 schools. Check public salary database

"Accounting research" and "accounting PhDs" have got to be one of the most absurd concepts to come out of modern academia, and that is certainly saying something because there's a lot of competition.
There is no sense in which any accounting undergraduate is better off taking any accounting course from some economist who does tangentially related applied micro research than if the course were instead taught by a competent CPA with 10+ years of industry experience. Even if it's a good economist who does meaningful research on the subject, which most accounting faculty are not.

wtf are you talking about? There is no such pay except for senior profs. Just to make people understand I will bring two examples here. The University of Illinois Urbana Champaign is the best when it comes to a PhD program and the University of Florida is one of the best. Last year they had two placements in teaching schools, NK - Florida in Montana state (130k pay) and RS - UIUC at Washington state (140k pay). If I had evidence like this 7 years ago, I wouldn't even have thought twice about ditching this garbage. English is my 1st language.
