where can I see the list of papers accepted at AERI?

I recently published there, and the experience was super smooth. We were rejected from another top journal and spun it out into AERI really fast. Great for the CV and we can all get on with our lives. Really a bitch to get below the word and figure count, though.

Got rejected twice at AERI. Both times got very useful reports and helpful editor letter, not to mention both submissions were handled in less than two months. For one of the papers, I used the AERI reports for AEJ and ended up getting R&R based only on the original AERI reports. Overall, couldn't be happier with the experience. The bar to publication is definitely set pretty high.

did finkelstein suggest to send it to aej ...aeri to aej fast track or something?

Editor suggested it, yes. You have the option of forwarding AERI reports when submitting to AEJs, just like with AER reports. In general you can forward reports to AEJs, you can forward reports even if editor doesn't suggest it.

Congrats on R&R. Sounds like AERI vs AER is more of a horizontal rather than vertical differentiation.
I got paper rejected from AERI, and then got it R&R from a top 5. In fact the top 5 I sent it too was at the suggestion of the AERI editor, and is not where I would have sent it, so I'm VERY happy with my AERI experience.

Did you keep the length the same when you went from AERI to AEJ? Or did you add in more stuff?

I kept the length the same, but I was close to the 6000 word cutoff.

It is NOT a top journal.
