Innocents Abroad, Life on the Mississippi, and Roughing It are among the funniest things ever written, but they have some substance. Obviously you can't really compare them to Dostoevsky, but they're not the same thing, and are surely worth reading anyway. And Huck Finn easily stands as a bona fide classic, even if it is funny. The rest, mostly meh or worse.
