The bot is getting ridi/culous. Can you please go over the list of banned words or take it down? Those who want to circumvent it already do, but it is a pain to lose long replies every time because of a false positive.
Seconded. I stopped crafting serious, long, deep replies since some time ago because it makes me angry that I spent 15 min over a serious answer and then it triggered the bot for some unknown reason (note that the answer did not contain any swear words or controversial words)
And then you see trolls who purposely circumvent the bot by inserting different symbols, using Cyrillic ... things like "d..i..e n-word d..i..e" or racist things against asians. What's the point of the bot?

The problem is that it is not only specific words, but also words together in posts, including words in posts that are being replied to

What's the point of the bot?I'm sympathetic to this, but there are multiple spammers that would make the site dysfunctional in the absence of the bot (see psr and sjmr).
Only real solution IMO is for Kirk to recruit more mods and then you could nuke the bot, or at least wipe it and restrict it to only a few dozen slurs etc.

Could you please de-mod the guy deleting stuff about the University of Virginia’s placements?
I don't see anything in the deletions log. It's probably getting bot deleted seeing as there is only one active mod.
UVA placement lists are still getting deleted from the above mentioned thread. Can you change the auto mod setting doing it?

Impossible to tell what is triggering the bot. Also can't restore it because it doesn't appear in the deletions log (Ron's spam quickly floods the log).

Apparently you cannot write the US state whose abbreviation is AR. Try writing it out in a comment and then wait 5-10 minutes.
