I thought it was a joke.
This is buls**t at its best.
What we need is a package where you can use Stata commands, and R runs in the background and calculates. For free.
If I have Stata, why do I need to execute my Stata commands from R?
What is the point to that?
ITT: morons. So let me explain this to R-tards (get it?):
Some commands are programmed in both Stata and R, but some only in R, some only in Stata. You may prefer, say, R, as your primary tool, but wish to use some command available only in Stata. Instead of switching languages which would be inconvenient, you can execute the Stata command R. Does this simple concept make sense now?
