Salary expectation for finance this year
-
Would like to know this as well. And I think 101 - end can be subdivided into 2/2, 2/3, 3/3 and above (teaching load). There is a substantial variation between, say, a 120th ranked school with a 2/2 teaching load and a LAC with a 3/4 teaching load. (I have a feeling that 80% of the ppl here think they are above average and would care less about schools ranked below 100.)
approximate salary (in finance) for tiers:
top 10
11-50
51-100
101-end
please? -
00-10: 185 + 2/9 (look at tenure rates, very tough, but you can easily move to 11-50)
11-50: 165 + 2/9 (2/9 is not promised sometimes), most of them use AP as temps or contract teachers for 6 years, dead end in most cases.
50-100: 145 + 1/9, tenure is relatively easy
100+: 130, need a side job to keep it going -
Your numbers are on the low side according to my knowledge. Adding 10-20k on each makes more sense.
