You cannot have a hitech industry in a medieval country.
It hurts short term but it’s worth it. Hopefully this will push Russo towards developing its own parallel tech/corporate/etc infrastructure so it’s indoeent of the West
China is the example to follow - sanctions would have far less effect there beside Chjna hasn’t opened its market uo ti Western companies and has made sure they have their own self sufficient infrastructure and that the Chinese government can prevent companies pulling out the company
What Fussia has done for the last few decades is insane, allowing the West to basically take control of the country by making it dependent on Western companies and tech. It was never going to be sustainable. Russia will come out of all this in a more sustainable long term position
