Pasquale Schiraldi (LSE) and Stephan Seiler (Stanford) threatened OT to add their names to his paper with HS. Otherwise they would impede publication. In writing, too:

Other than that, this thread consists (early on) of people’s opinions on the information mentioned above and (later) a lot of irrelevant nonsense from someone who wants to bury the facts. -
This
3 of the 4 people involved have issued statements on their web sites (the holdout is Schiraldi). Even Seiler did not deny that Schiraldi wrote the email (and amusingly, Seiler also offhandedly admits that the model he and Schiraldis upposedly "created" was actually created by Thomassen and Smith).
This thread is still going because Seiler and Schiraldi are unethical and refuse to remove their names from the AER paper. -

Second, they are mutually exclusive so doing both is not an option. I know you're not very strong on IQ Bobby, but this is basic logic
Can you please do both, succer?
SHould I cc you Schifo or would you rather be contacted by the AEA ombudsperson and LSE heads after they receive the email?
I'm leaning to the latter, but I can see upsides in the former too.
