Other than that, this thread consists of people’s opinions on the information mentioned above and a lot of irrelevant nonsense from someone who wants to bury the facts. -
just read the detailed post above. Pasquale Schiraldi and Stefan Seiler bullied their way to an AER. There are detailed statements by the two real authors, a statement of Stefan Seiler claimining it's not really his fault and no statement by Pascuale Schiraldi (who wrote the publicly available smoking gun, an email threatening to destroy the paper unless he was made coauthor).

Remoff your names from the profession, bullies
Agreed. We are one year in now, and neither PS nor his sidekick SS have withdrawn their names from the AER. It's clear that they have no plans of ever doing what is right. At this point, these criminals need to leave the profession permanently.
