acceptance out
is this a good conference?
SGF Conference

it's absurd that a conference like that has 14% acceptance rate. That used to be the rate at AFA a little while ago...
It's a pretty high acceptance rate these days. NFA which used to be accessible but had a 7% acceptance rate last year. MFA used to be a joke but is now also very selective. Dozens of small conference have acceptance rates of 2% or so (hundreds of submissions and 10 papers on the program). All these conferences accept the same papers, so the vast majority of papers including very good ones never get any exposure. It's ridiculous.

Why is everyone submitting to every conference nowadays?
