That’s why Twitter is the laughing stock of silicon valley. Heck, maybe next time when I run out of research ideas I should just tweet to AER editors and ask what they want in their journals.
Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter Inc. and Square Inc., on Friday set some New Year’s resolutions for the two companies he heads after asking users what they want.
Drawing on responses to a tweet sent out Thursday, Dorsey narrowed down user requests for Twitter TWTR, -0.24% to four categories: abuse, edit, topics and interests and conversations. The requests for Twitter come after a year in which the company was dogged by rumors of a sale and criticized for failing to make improvements and for stalling user growth.
