I live in the UK. We messed up really bad by delaying lockdown for a week. If it doubles every three days, then we had like 4 times as many deaths just by delaying a week
Barring a vaccine soon, deaths per capita in the long run are going to be the same everywhere depending on a few exogenous factors. It doesn't matter what you do.
