Easy come, easy gohave you logged on to LeetCode's website? that's a high barrier to entry
A bit like posting on EJMR.
A barrier to entry isn't that it's hard to get a job. A barrier to entry is when you're blocked from even trying. It's like how you can't enter an industry even if you have a good product. Saying that you need a high i/q to get a good SWE job is not a barrier to entry. A construction worker might know the ins and outs of a home but he cant work as a civil engineer in the real estate industry.
isn't a barrier to entry just a fixed cost that needs to be incurred in order to enter a market that incumbent firms didn't need to incur? that might be why he's yelling at you.
Barriers to entry is an economics and business term describing factors that can prevent or impede newcomers into a market or industry sector, and so limit competition. These can include high start-up costs, regulatory hurdles, or other obstacles that prevent new competitors from easily entering a business sector.
preparing for a technical interview is that barrier
No, preparing for an interview is not a barrier to entry.

by your logic then, there's no barrier to entry to move to Hollywood and star in the next blockbuster movie
But yeah at least you now know what a barrier to entry is. You just cant seem to apply the definition correctly. It's ok. this type of intelligence isn't something that comes easy to coders. you do you.
I went to an ivy league school and graduated with honors with a BA in Econ as my first degree. How about you?

I'm not going to yell at you bro, but unfortunately I don't think technical interviews are really a barrier to entry. They are more of a screening device used by employers.

Barrier to entry in Hollywood is a SAG card. You can't join until you've already worked on a SAG production 3 times as a background actor (non-union are only hired if no union actors are available), or be cast in a speaking role. Both paths are incredibly difficult.

leetcoding is not a barrier to entry, lots of h1bs do it. doctor lifetime earnings >>>> leetcoder for this reason.
H1Bs are smarter than most Americans and conservative with their spending. Doctors are notoriously bad with finances due to med school debt + excessive spending from years of pent-up delayed gratification.
