I'm not aware of toxic landfills near cities in Texas, but I know there is one near Los Angeles
Progressivism was always a blue state shield to preserve wealth. The rich blue state RIN0s (aka Rockefeller Rs) realized that the R party was no longer viable in states like California and New York and that the R party was starting to pvrge its ranks, so they infi1trated the D party to redirect attention towards social issues in an attempt to safeguard their wealth. Unfortunately they pushed the social issues to the point that they themselves are facing pressure from young true believer types.
