It's a show based on a true story, not a documentary. I find nothing wrong with some artistic liberty.
This is retarded.
From the videos of the actual event I’ve seen I only counted one woman and dozens of men.
"Unlike many of the the characters on the mini-series, Ulana doesn't exactly correspond to a real person from history. Rather, Ulana is based on a composite of many unnamed historical figures. "She’s created in tribute to the many men and women scientists who were put who surreptitiously and secretly helped move things along and find the truth," Watson told Refinery29 at a recent press junket in New York."
Many men and women. Aha
A fictional female Soviet scientist is OK, unfair "we need to hire a woman" practices are not OK and should be challenged by anyone with tenure and an appetite for trouble.
Can’t you see it’s 2 sides of the same coin? The US is turning into a social media driven edition of The Commissar Vanishes

There are lots of smart Russian women out there, especially in math, physics and econ, who made a name for themselves in the US years before this new affirmative action craze. So this particular Chernobyl character is believable. But i get the point...if they were to remake "A Beautiful Mind", John Nash would be getting all his ideas from those blondes at the bar.
Men made disaster is mitigated by a woman scientist, and econ job rumor is triggered!Except if a movie had a male as the hero for something that a female did, Twitter would be triggered.....
Yeah, why can blacks say the N word and I can't !!!?
Why do blacks bother saying the N word is a better question.
