My name is Ramish Babu and I work for the esteemed Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics. We are currently in the process of launching our flagship journal to be called the Quarterly Journal of Economies. As I know many of the members of this academic network live and work in the West, I would sincerely like to call for submissions to our journal. We aim at providing quality and timely feedback, courtesy of our internal staff, and the promise of publication for the most cutting edge research.

Thank you for your interest in our journal. Please feel free to submit your next piece of cutting-edge research to the editorial team of the QJE reachable at qje_editors in the yahoo.com domain
I would have loved to publish in your journal but I have already submitted my last paper to American Economies Review.

We aim at ensuring that only the pinnacle of the current economic research gets published in the QJE. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on heterodox journals. If you believe your article is of general interest to the wider economic community, please submit it for review to the QJE's editorial team : qje_editors in the yahoo.com domain
Is this new journal better than the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics?

Hi Ramish, thank you for informing us about your new journal. I have recently completed a paper analyzing potential dust bowl effects in the mita using rainfall as an IV, and I'm trying to decide whether to send it to your journal or the America Economics Review, could you please advise?

As we insist on robust estimation and unparalleled theoretical contributions, your paper may not be the best match for our journal at the present moment.

We try to give full consideration to all the submissions and trust that even if a paper is not up to scratch in its current shape, the reviewers' comments passed onto the authors are invaluable.
If a paper is not up to scratch are you able to desk reject within minutes of receiving it?
