Thinking of deleting my facebook page

I don't have the narcissistic urge to liveblog my life, and I don't want people I barely know to know about it when I break up with a girlfriend. If I really care about staying in touch with someone, we can exchange email addresses. Any other bros out there have any experience with unplugging from facebook?

Good decision. It's a pain for a little bit if the people you are friends with use it to coordinate social plans, but pays off soon enough. You'll like your colleagues more after being exposed less to their everyday posts

You don't have to delete it. Just don't put anything but basic information up, don't have a "wall" and never check it (I get emails if someone sends a direct message). It really is a good way to contact someone if you ever need to, so it's there just in case.
