All these estimates are too generous, in particular 1 and 4. I am shocked by the overrepresentation of tattoos among 30-year-old women on apps. Like, did not believe there were this many of them in society. Though if you're talking about the 22 year old population this is more accurate.

Nah that’s not the problem. All of the “good” women are trying to get top tier guys to settle for them. This is why there are so many 30 something single women. Soon to be 40 something, 50 something... Going going gone.

My approach until marriage was to hit the town on the weekend and chat up hottes in bars. Obviously I only chatted up the ones whose looks I liked and only got the contacts of those that found me OK. Then I went on dates with them and sometimes I was lucky, sometimes not. I kept going until I got my wife. It was a numbers game in the end. It does presuppose you live in a big city though.
