hey guys, what did your status say on the ecb profile before 'reserve list' or 'decision stage' as some of you mentioned? did it at any point say something like 'assessment stage'? i'm wondering if i can read anything into this..
Assessment stage is the one before decision stage. I guess "assessment" is the one when they decide the rejections while "decision" is the one where they either give you an offer or put you in the reserve list. It's just a guess based on experience

thanks! so you're saying that if i ever see 'decision stage' it will mean that i am not rejected? i.e. outcome is either offer or reserve? else, i will see 'reject'?

It would be a guess again, but when I got rejected I never got past assessment stage

Folks, there are 3 stages. New HR system.
Step1 you get cv screened
If you made it you get moved.
Step2 selection stage (multiple rounds possible) you get moved by round
If you made it you get moved again
Step3 offer (this will take a while since HR is insanely slow, as everywhere)
The system sucks. Everybody sends email bilaterally and that works well for selected candidates.
Good luck to you,

Is it a good idea to e-mail HR about the outcome?

HR knows nothing anyway and won’t tell you. They don’t matter for hiring the local teams do.
