Did anyone apply for these? Have you heard anything so far? There is very little information available about the length of the process - any insiders with insights?
Traineeship at the ECB
-
ECB has two types of internships. I suppose you applied for a phd internship. My college did it last year. I was offered this one, but I had to decline.
My college told me it is quite nice. As a phd intern he mostly did research. Proper research, he got a co-authored paper out of it and got to know lots of great researchers. The pay is also quite nice (1.900€ + flat).
I would go for it if I were you!
-
I am also waiting to hear from the Output and Demand Division.
But I got a competency-based phone interview with the Directorate General Macro-Prudential Policy and Financial Stability. I am waiting for an outcome.
On the ECB job opportunity website it is said that the selection process takes usually around two months, unless the number of candidates is very large.
So, how can you say if your phone interview went well ?

I would go for it if I were you!Is that monthly pay? Because that's really not good. I made more than that selling t shirts online as an undergrad.

Experiences from a previous applicant :
• rejection email comes 1 month after the closing date of vacancies (if no phone interview);
• invitation to phone interview comes around 1 week after the closing date (sometimes 2 weeks);
• offer or rejection comes 1 month after phone interview;
• hence, the selection process take around 2 months after the closing date (sometimes candidates may have offers without phone interview).if this information is true offers will come next week
