No hotdesking, but most likely office sharing.

Office sharing is not unique to Exeter and will become more widespread in the UK in the coming years. With attendance at the office still a bit down after COVID and admin shysters looking for more ways to cut costs at academics' expense to sustain vanity buildings, this is the easy managerial decision. Academics are just pawns in the UK HE game.
