The department is socially still said to be toxic waste.
Rumor is that Balafoutas and Fornwagner only left because of potential press intervention.

As an Exeter insider, I was at the same time shocked and not surprised to read this rather astonishing thread.
Although having only had a short experience of him and the missus so far, my prior does not deviate significantly from the above reports.
