^ This is true (political scientist here). I find myself wondering about the stupidity of some of my colleagues from time to time (not often). I have that feeling less when I spend time in the econ department (both top 50 programs).

But we ARE nicer. And probably more fun on average, though that's not saying much.

Below APSR and AJPS, but still part of the "big three." For political economy types I would take an IO hit over JOP, personally.
