Warwick is obviously much worse than LSE, UCL, Oxbridge (also location does not seem to help at all). How would you say it compares to the top4? Would you say it's closer to the top4 or closer to other UK LRMs in terms of research output, faculty strength, students, etc?
In terms of strengths there's quite a lot of faculty doing research in econ history, development, labor, and maybe some theory but I don't see any high quality papers (or grad students) coming out of Warwick. So maybe it's closer to the UK/EU LRMs than it is to the top4? Thoughts?
