Does anyone know how long the review process usually takes?
Do you recommend making the paper publicly accessible beforehand or try to keep it secret?

Not fake. I have two submissions. One substantially weaker. The weaker one is ‘maybe’. The stronger one is ‘in review’. So I don’t think the internal reviews are very meaningful. But the stays for internal reviews has certainly changed for my submission. (As the poster above said, you need to download the excel spreadsheet to see it).
