Disarmement on a large scale? Expansion of health care legislation to cover more services and products? How about social initiatives in the spirit of affirmative action (such as quotas for homosexuals)? Multiculturalism (such as requiring schools to provide the option to take exams in Spanish)? Union law? Regulation of political broadcasting?
I'm sure these are all things he would support, but which can he realistically hope to accomplish?

LOL idiot, racial disparities in the criminal justice system is a real civil rights issue. I'm not saying we should "put a hold" on black prosecutions, but we definitely should ramp up white prosecutions.

Declaring victory in, and ending, the "war on drugs" would go a long ways towards reducing the disparity between white and black incarceration rates.
He could do a complete Bush on that. Put on a law enforcement jacket of some sort, fly in on a helicopter and roll out a big "Mission Accomplished" banner.
