Listened to AVJ’s presentation at a conference recently. If a JMC presented that, no jerb whatsoever. Neither theory nor data analysis passes a reasonable bar. Of course, the paper is written on such a self-important topic by an HRM like AJM so it will be AER or JF.

AvJ and AM are married?
Haas made a huge mistake by hiring AVJ. Many regret the decision at this point. She forgets that her tenure was denied at Chicago Economics and she ended up at Kellogg's Finance. AM is her significant other. Her tenure isn't surprising. But she destroyed the department.
Aren't they married now? Just say wife, there's no problem in saying that and Deans probably love that fact. The only way they could be even more perfect from a Dean's perspective was if one of them was black and the other one native american and if they adopted kids from Cambodia or Nigeria or something.
AM is someone who I've found very unimpressive for a long time and if I remember correctly she didn't pass her mid-term review at Booth. But if Haas wants to give her tenure then its fine by me (as you can guess I'm not at Haas so I don't give a crap where they spend their money). -

Several of the senior Haas people are toxic and it is already toxic. Good AP's are not joining despite getting offers and going to lower-ranked departments because word has gotten out about how toxic the senior people are.
