What to visit in Atlanta?
-
Are you stupid? Countries or cities have often historical or interesting places one must visit during his/her trip. I was referring to kind of places.
If you're gay, then a gay club.
If you're an idiot, then an idiot club.
How can people possibly make meaningful suggestions without knowing your personal preferences and interests? -

I'm not local, but there is a time in my life I was in Atlanta somewhat regularly.
The common tourist things near the conference are :
Georgia Acquarium. (One of the best in the U.S.)
CNN Studio Towers
Coca Cola Museum
Olympic ParkThe city has taken a lot of initiative to build up nice park areas.
the biggest of this is the Atlanta Belt Line. There is of course theThere are also various markets/shpping areas that are kind of noted.
Ponce City Market, Atlantic Station (which often has a cirque du soliel show)
.
Food
1. Burgers (Some of the Best Burger Joints in the country are here. Skip the Varsity and Vortex)
2. Southern Barbecue (Fox Bros is considered good, I've never personally been there)3. North Atlanta has the third largest Korean Community in North America. Korean Barbecue is great here and worth a drive to North Atlanta. Iron Age is popular with locals.
