Wow, I just looked at their finance faculty directory. It is now the worst finance department in HK. There's even a dozen mainland Chinese schools with better finance departments. What happened to HKUST? Titman is the founding professor of that deparment and now he is crying losing HOAP.vidit goyal?

Only ONE A-tier pub in the first FOUR years as AP. And that works came from the Ph.D. supervisors!

The research ideas and resources were not hers, but, when she presents the paper, she intentionally downplays other people's contribution. Dishonest and snobbish.
After graduating she went to UW as an AP, where her colleagues are greatly annoyed by her condescending behaviors and voted her down unanimously in peer reviews. Forced to leave to move to Hong Kong, her new colleagues continued to complain about her.
A live example of bad karma. Cannot wait and see what will happen to her next.

You must have confused Sunny Huang with Shan Huang. Sunny Huang is a male prof at UST, while Shan Huang is a female with HKU.
Different people. I've seen a paper from the HKU SH presented at a conference. Quite obvious that she only contributed her connection to WeChat on that paper. HKU is a bean counter though, which is quite unfair to other juniors.
